Individual Therapy
in Colorado + Massachusetts
Individual therapy is a beautiful avenue for turning toward your inner space with gentle, honest guidance that moves fluidly between practical skill building and deep inner exploration.
I feel passionately about the process of waking back up from the grip of old patterns and returning to a life lived more awake.

Who I work well with
I work well with those who are drawn toward depth and realness, and who are willing to turn toward the fear, discomfort, and uncertainty that honest inner work requires. I often find myself working with creatives, highly sensitive humans, perfectionists, and high achievers who sense their own patterns, especially those related to shame, are limiting them in some way.
Frequently Asked Questions
for Individual Therapy
-
Getting started is simple. I always like to have a free, 15 minute consult with potential new clients to explore fit. This gives you a chance to get a feel for what working together could be like, and gives me a chance to sense if I can provide support for what you are seeking. If we decide to work together, I will send you a portal invitation from Alma (the platform I use to take care of billing and calendar). Intake documents will be sent, and insurance will be verified before session (if you choose to use insurance). Scheduling can be coordinated via email.

I do not provide in-person sessions at the moment. However, I am open to connecting with clients who live in the Fort Collins area for outdoor sessions (weather permitting). I currently use Zoom to conduct sessions.

Out of pocket costs are $150/50-55 minute session. If you have out-of-network benefits I am happy to provide a superbill once a month to provide to your insurance. Otherwise, see below for insurance that I work with in CO and MA. I make sure and verify your insurance before beginning work together to confirm I am able to work with your policy, as well as provide a good faith estimate provided by your insurance company

I prefer to begin work with a new client on a weekly basis to build rapport, but am also open to a biweekly cadence if you sense that is best. I am sensitive to budgets, and we can explore a cadence that feels best for you. We will begin our work with an open space for you to let me know anything you sense you want me to know about your past or present. I do not ask for your full history as we do not need that to begin our work. However, I do trust you to share what you want or need me to know. We will then clarify what you want to focus on in our work together. We will periodically check in with how you are feeling about the space, and time between sessions can increase or decrease accordingly.

Although I bring tools, experience and perspective, I do not consider myself the expert in the space. I am not here to tell you what to do, as I deeply respect the expertise that you hold on your values, lived experience, and awareness of what life feels like for you. I bring a respect for this sentiment, and value bringing honesty and guidance with an awareness that ultimately you will be the one to discern what feels helpful and true for you, and what does not. Together, we collaborate on direction and I trust what you sense.

Therapy fees are often covered by Insurance. Please check with your insurance coverage to see if they cover Behavioral Health care. Ask your provider what they cover for CPT code 90837; sometimes, all or part of your visit may be covered! We are also happy to help you determine what your insurance covers. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to contact insurance and ask them what their coverage is.
We can also directly submit claims to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement or for generation of a superbill.

I see clients from 9 AM-6 PM Mountain time M-Fr. Some clients choose a consistent cadence, and due to schedules, some clients meet at different times each week. Before scheduling a consult, I will screen for potential availability in our schedules. I have had wonderful consults only to find our availability does not math.

If a client cancels or no-shows a session with less than 24 hours notice, the client will be charged a $120 late cancel fee. If we are able to reschedule within the same week, the fee will be waived. In the event of a true medical emergency, requiring urgent professional treatment, a sudden death in the family, or a natural disaster, fees will of course be waived. Therapists in private practice are fee for service, and frequent cancelations or requests to reschedule will warrant a conversation around fit for therapy in the present.
I am guided by a profound respect for the courage it takes to engage with this work.
Authentic living requires deep courage. To sit with uncertainty, take honest risks, and move toward freedom from limiting patterns, even when the path is unclear, is brave.
